My approach
I am experienced in both short-term, solution-focused counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. I am especially interested in work around trauma, family conflict, relationship difficulties and men’s issues. As an integrative therapist I have studied a wide range of theoretical approaches which I draw upon in my work. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems, Person-Centred Therapy and The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for working with complex trauma.
Confidentiality and ethics are of paramount importance to me, and I work within the Code of Ethics of the IACP.
